Honeycutt, Engineer
Richard
Honeycutt, engineer, has over 30 years' experience
designing and installing church sound systems, primarily
for small- to medium-sized churches. His educational
background includes a Physics degree from Wake Forest
University and a Ph.D. in Electroacoustics from the
Union Institute and University. Additional experience
includes four years in broadcast radio engineering,
and twenty years teaching electronics and computer
engineering technology at Davidson County Community
College. Dr. Honeycutt is a member of the Audio Engineering
Society, the Acoustical Society of America, and the
NC Regional Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America,
of which he is a past chair. He has presented and
published numerous papers on audio and electronics.
He is a Renkus-Heinz Iconyx Certified
Designer. Richard has also performed semi-professionally
on guitar, electric bass, trumpet, and saxophone.
